DisplayPort Cables

DisplayPort is an upgrade from HDMI, the standard in video transmission in today's gadgets including tablets, laptops and desktop computers. Although not used as widely as others, Displayport 1.4 is found in non-Mac machines. Not to be confused with MiniDisplayport, these have 20 Pins and are usually lockable. They can support resolutions up to 8K@60Hz UHD (7680 x 4320) with 30 bits/pixel RGB color and HDR as well as 4K@120Hz with 30 bits/pixel RGB color and HDR. They even offer support for all common 3D video formats, and are capable of carrying multichannel digital audio.
