Description
PoE Stands for Power over Ethernet, which allows you to connect devices without power supplies attached to them. Up to 600V of power can be transmitted over the ethernet cable, giving you power and network connectivity over the same cable! So now you can install any of the following:
- Ethernet Switch- in the middle of an office or conference hall, where you may need to connect other devices but dont have a power point in the wall.
- Wi-Fi Access Point- in the middle of a warehouse, all you need is to run one wire and you have signal and power on the same cable.
These have foil over Twisted Pair shielding for protection against electromagnetic interference to transmit clean signal over long distances. These are constructed with a solid jacket and are rated for speeds up to 550Mhz.
