The 172-94X Xtra Link2 Xpansion kits are used along with one standard 172-94 when installing Xtra Links in more than one room. It includes only the parts needed for each additional room, thus avoiding the unnecessary duplication of couplers, emitters and coax jumper cables. The 172-94X package includes:
- One 291-00 Infrared Receiver
- One INJ94 Injector
- One DC Power Supply
- One Coax jumper cables with RF connectors (U.S.A. version only).
- IR modulation freq. bandwidth: 30 - 100 kHz
- Nominal reception range: > 30 feet
- Nominal reception angle: 45 degrees off axis
- Maximum current output: 100 milliamps
- Maximum number of directly driven IR emitters: Up to two single or two dual emitters using the CPL94B Coupler
- The CPL77 Coupler contains a 5-900 MHz 2-way RF splitter
- Cable requirement: RG-59/RG-6 coaxial
- Maximum cable length: One mile with RG-6
