APPLICATION: Leviton’s Gigamax™ 5e patch panels are designed for use on standard 19" racks and cabinets. The patch panels include Leviton’s patented “Retention Force Technology” which promotes consistent performance over the life of the system. Leviton’s unique configurable panel design allows for quick single-circuitreplacement or reconfiguration. This panel also allows forinsertion of alternative QuickPort® connectors to customize the application. Leviton’s Gigamax 5e system is designed for quickinstallation and reliable performance in a multitude of network settings. FEATURES: Includes “Retention Force Technology.” Universal T568A and T568B wiring labels for 110-style IDC terminations.Preloaded with Leviton Gigamax 5e+ connectors (black). Front write- on labeling areas. STANDARDS COMPLIANCE: Gigamax 5e system components meet or exceed the Category 5e/Class E requirements for channel/component level performance per TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801-B.Components certified per cULus, and ACA requirements. PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Dimensions: 24-port: 1.75"H x 19"W x 3.5"D. 48-port: 3.5"H x 19"W x 3.5"D. Capacity: 24- and 48-port. Materials: 16 gauge steel, painted black; PCB and plastic components are rated per UL 94V-0. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: Front write-on labeling areas. Mounts on 19" equipment racks. Panel offered in 24-, 48-Port configurations. Preloaded with black Gigamax Category 5e+ connectors. TYPICAL SPECIFICATION: The patch panel shall meet or exceed the requirements for Category 5e described in TIA/EIA-568-B.2 as well as the Class E requirements described in ISO/IEC 11801-B. The panels shallfeature both T568A and T568B wiring configurations, mounting standoffs for cable management bars, and front write-on labeling.The panels shall be made of 16 gauge steel, and shall have a black painted finish with white silk-screening. The plasticelements shall be fire-retardant with a UL flammability rating of94V-0. The panel shall be offered in 24- and 48-portconfigurations. Panel shall have the ability to allow for single port replacement of inoperative ports.
